In 1994, at age 14, Paul F. Jarrett realized his passion for electronic music and IndustrialDeath was born. Starting off with analog samplers and drum machines, later incorporating beat sequencing programs such as Reason, IndustrialDeath has amassed an ample collection of beats and instrumentals, covering a wide array of genres such as dubstep, IDM, industrial, down tempo, and hip hop. Also a prolific lyricist, Paul is currently working on releasing two albums showcasing all original beats and wordplay, as well as collaborating with other talented MC’s and DJ’s on numerous side projects. IndustrialDeath marks the inevitable demise of the recording industries massed produced, over priced banality and the rise of innovative, provocative music from independent artists dedicated to defining new musical boundaries. Ali Richardson

Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, Ali Richardson, currently resides in West Philadelphia, a vibrant and diverse community which serves as his home-base for teaching, creating, and performing music. As a co-founder of CODA Program, Ali is also lead facilitator for the Hip-hop Jazz Musicology and The Drum Circle workshops. Musically and artistically, Ali blends Hip-hop, Jazz, Blues, and World Music into his performances and plays several musical instruments, including guitar, drums, bass, keyboard, and percussion. Ali is also involved in numerous bands and musical projects throughout Philadelphia such as Ali & The Cassius Clays, Rafiyah, Plum Dragoness & The Elements and many more. Mr. Richardson enjoys teaching and working with all ages and academic levels in efforts is to create a world where youth and elders can sing together, learn together, and teach together.

As a Performance Artist I've performed in local, national & international professional venues, nightlife clubs, festivals & community centers. Locally, I organize a community performance series called "Poet-tree en Motion" @ the Rotunda in West Philly, and have just recently released a CD of spoken word & music, called "Renaissance of a Poetess" with Emmy Award Winning Producer Rodney Whittenberg, including the project "PlumDragoness & the Elements"! As a Healing Arts instructor I teach classes, workshops & offer retreats in Yoga, Martial/Internal arts & various styles of Dance fusion, among other offerings. As an Arts Educator: I create curriculum & facilitate cultural arts workshops in dance, movement, theater, poetry & healing arts with students ranging from pre-K to university level. Also, I have worked for anti-violence programs with at risk youth, empowerment programs for pre/adjudicated teenage girls and with women's shelters!

Solitare was Born Isaac Samuel Richards on that glorious August Morning Twenty Six years ago. The Skies Opened Up, and Sprinkled Drops of Sunshine on all of the inhabitants of Earth. It was rumored that the baby smelled of rich mahogany and fresh apple pie. But enough of this scented yute. After a five year vacation from worry, Solitaire began battling the Screaming Demon Entities of Hell on a regular basis, while traveling the hood in his pimp big wheel truck. Part of his adolescence was spent on the desert island of bahrain, tracking scorpions and corralling stray cats by day and spending his nights in dimly lit tents, inhaling various flavors of Hookah Smoke while socializing with other groups of transient children. Then came the dawn of the new millenium, at which point, he had already migrated back to the philadelphia area, to twist blunts while often avoiding school and the fuzz. What he did not avoid was the daily scribing of elaborate text whence translated would be found to have the encoded knowledge that would lead to the Salvation of Mankind after the Zombie Apocalypse. He enjoys pink sunsets and chunky monkey ice cream.

Matthew Weiss

Matthew Weiss is a tracking and mixing engineer based in Philadelphia. He began writing music in High School, and attended Sarah Lawrence College for Music Theory and Composition. There, Matthew worked as a sound tech, doing live sound for acts such as J-Live, Matisyahu, and Mirah; and recording jazz band and orchestra concerts. Afterwards, Matt took an internship at Shooters Post & Transfer Facility. He soon began working as an assistant to producer Mark Marshall (Abby Ahmad, Jenna Torres), and recording engineer Denise Barbarita (Mary J. Blige, Angie Stone). In 2009, Matt began working as an in-house engineer for Studio E, owned and operated by producer Bobby Eli (George Clinton, Denise Williams). Matt is now the head engineer at Studio E, where he has worked with artists such as Ronnie Spector, Paul Hill, Random, Uri Caine, and The Gift of Gab (of Blackalicious). Matthew has recently been made a member of the Pyramid Recording Collective. Matt Weiss is an author for TheProAudioFiles.com, and NoiseAddicts.com.

Drummer since age 8, self taught on bass and guitar by age 16 before delving into the world of electronic music and hip hop at age 22. Self taught on FL Studios, I am always improving my abilities by learning as much as I can about producing music. I am a strong advocate for all things strange and unusual - most likely because I grew up in an unconventional, counter-culture household surrounded by musicians. LITERALLY, my step-father (former drummer of The Goats) was always jamming in the attic, the Death Metal band Relic to the left and live music constantly flowing from the house to the right. Visit's to my father's house were filled with guitar playing and jam sessions from an early age. Currently I play drums in a hardcore/punk band, while at the same time pursuing my love of making beats and all different types of music. I have played in different genres of bands my whole life - from a jazz quartet to a seven piece ska band. Music has always and will always be a huge part of my life.
